She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guthrie, Sr. and Eunice Vining Guthrie; and her siblings, William "Billy" Guthrie, Jr., Carolyn McGlocklin, Loyd "Wayne" Guthrie, Janice Gooch and Hollis Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Usery (Lindsey) and Nikki Usery; her grandchildren, Justin Usery (Alex) and Brooklyn Elmore; her great grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth Usery; her siblings, Curtis "Laverne" Guthrie (Shirley), Susan Holt, Barbara Hemphill (Tommy), Sheila McKnight (Pete), Daryl Guthrie and Phyllis Spencer (William); and her sister-in-law Wanda Guthrie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
