She is survived by: her children, Cathy Balch, Lyndell Wheatley (Renee) and Don Wheatley (Selina); and her siblings, William Ellis Wheatley, Jr. (Josie), Louis Adrian "Dean" Wheatley (Janie), Mattie Pugh and Myrtle Medley. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
