He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edison Haney and Jessie Fainer Dildine Haney; and his siblings, Ronald Haney, Hubert Haney, Bobby Haney, Dennis Haney, Nadine Atchley and Sherry Blankenship.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Moss Haney of Elkmont, AL; his children, Ned Haney (Valerie Lee) of Prospect, TN, Gina Dilgard of Huntsville, AL and Tiffany Reaves (Tristian); his grandchildren, Robbie Goletz of Huntsville, AL and Shannon Newton; his brothers, Marion Haney (Edna) of Ardmore, AL, Jimmy Haney (Jean) and Cloyd Haney; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Haney of Ardmore, AL and Gwen Haney.
