She was predeceased by: her stepfather Charles Lasater; and her sister Tammy. She is survived by: her father Tommy Carr; her daughter Madison Barnes (Lucas); her mother Norma Jean Lasater (Chambers); her extended family, Sandra and Jerry Barnes; her siblings, Jaquata Thompson (Tina Smith) and Charlie Lasater; her nieces, Ainsley Thompson, Breanna Barnes and Autumn Barnes; her nephew Abel Tankersley; her stepchildren, Yancy Sims, Matthew Sims, Elizabeth Sims and Emily Sims; and her former husbands, Jason Barnes and Shaun Sims. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and bonus children.
