With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Smith Shelton of Elkmont, Alabama, who passed away on July 24, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John David Smith and Maggie Ruth Maddox Smith; her husband C. H. Shelton; her son David Randall King; and her siblings, Clara Hall, Louise Jean, Betty Dean Williams, Roy Smith, Clifford Smith and Allen Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Darryl Shelton (Sylvia), Connie Clinard (Grant) of Elkmont, AL, Brenda Whitehead and Charlotte Holt (Larry); and her sister Ruth Ann Allen of Elkmont, AL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
