It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Carlette Carney Ray (Elkmont, Alabama), born in New Hope, Alabama, who passed away on October 28, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Robert Carney and Nellie Leona Smith Carney; and her daughter Wanda Lavern Jones. She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Ruth Henley (Billy), Sue Ann Broadway (Brad), Ricky Carney (Lynn), James Kimbrough, Robert Kimbrough, Charles Kimbrough (Misty), Chris Kimbrough, Carter Kimbrough and Jeff Kimbrough (Kristy); and her siblings, Edward Wilbanks, Joe Wilbanks, Raymond Wilbanks, Bobby Wilbanks, Kenneth Wilbanks, Steven Wilbanks, Shirly Hill, Billie Fay, Wanda Sue Subelt and Donnie Haymon. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
