She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Lauderdale and Virginia Ruth Amerson Lauderdale; and her brother Steve Lauderdale. She is survived by: her husband Curtiss E. Powers; her children, Sonya Powers McCluskey (Mike) and Curtiss E Powers, Jr. (Jackie); her grandchildren, Michael Alex McCluskey (Amanda), Dustin McCluskey (Haley), Curtiss E "Trey" Powers, III (Emily), Melissa Green and Seth Green; her great grandchildren, Graci Whitworth, Abbigayle Whitworth, Bryson Michael McCluskey and Gabriel Hendricks; her brothers, Carlos Dwight Lauderdale (Barbara) and Stanley Lauderdale (Janie); and her sister-in-law Libby Lauderdale.
