He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie VanManen and John P. Usery; and his wife Patricia Robinson Usery. He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Hicks, Sonya Skinner (Dennis) and Kerry Atkinson (Chris); his siblings, Harold Wade, Ronnie Usery, Angela Nash and Karen Daniels; his grandchildren, Christopher Hicks, Amanda Hicks, Caitlin Sims, Tyler Skinner, Erika Hosmer and Colby Morris; his great grandchildren, Lawton Hicks, Hezekiah Heard, Braxton Sims, Brodie Sims, Brett Sims, Persephone Hosmer, Maverick Morris and Hudson Morris; and his stepfather Paul VanManen.
