He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Wurtz and Mildred Zabel Wurtz; his son Jim Wurtz; and his brother Robert Wurtz. He is survived by: his wife Cloveta Wurtz of Wisconsin; his children, John "Yogi" Wurtz (Jaclee) of Elkmont and Vicki Perez (Guillermo) of Antioch, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie, Lindsey, Zach, Christopher, Briana, Elizabeth, Chloe, Mandy and Caelan; and his sister Barbara Ruback of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
