She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon L. Nelson and Violet Hamilton Nelson; and her brothers, Thomas Nelson, Edward Nelson and James Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Nelson; her sister-in-law Susan Nelson; and her aunt Sara Evans.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
