With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Penelope Mathews in Elberta, Alabama, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Penelope Mathews to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Fisher and Ervin Fisher; and her husband Henry Mathews. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Mathews (Tammy), David Mathews (Yolanda) and Sharon O'Neal (Randy); and her sisters, Sylvia Jeffcoat, Barbara Ferguson and Judy Wayne. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and, 17 great grandchildren.

Donations can be made in her honor to Safe Harbor Animal Coalition.
