It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Prouty Sr. of Elberta, Alabama, born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward and Ida Beatrice Boyd Prouty; and his daughter Lisa Marie Prouty. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Prouty; his children, Michael Prouty, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Amanda Prouty of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Corsair (Michael) of Madison, AL; his grandchildren, Jackson and Olivia Corsair of Madison, AL; and his cousins, Becky Glover of Orange Beach, AL, Tom and Sharon Maser of Orange Beach, AL.
