With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Michael Schaff of Elberta, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lorenz and Eva Schaff; his parents, Elizabeth Gottler Schaff and George Schaff Sr.; his siblings, George Schaff (Margaret), Frankie Schaff, Larry Schaff, Joey Schaff, Elizabeth Schaff Kaiser (Denny) and Helen Schaff; and his grandsons, John Landon Schaff, Joel Schaff and Baxter Duddy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Andy Schaff (Christine), Pam Guidry (Danny), Michael Schaff (Leila), Ginny Blackmon (Larry), Mitch Schaff (Leanne) and JoAnn Kaiser; his grandchildren, Brandie Guidry, Colt Guidry (Kynlee), Brook Duddy (Zac), Drew Schaff (Melanie), Justin Schaff (Jamie), Tripp Blackmon (Kayla), Carson Schaff (Anthony), Chantz Blackmon (Haley), Bailey Hodo (Kane), Austin Smyth, Tanner Smyth (Jacob), Hunter Smyth, Travis Smyth, Sky Kaiser and De Kaiser; his great grandchildren, Macie (Steven), Gabe, Poppy, Reese, Harper, Charley, Quincy, Ezra, Eden, Elliana, Elilah, Evangeline, McLain, Cole, Wyatt, Lydia, Felix, Fynn, Tomarion, Hayes and Beckham; his great great grandchild Heath; and his sister Kathy Schaff Odom.
