He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton A Cauley and Eunice Mae Cauley; his daughter Susie Sims; and his granddaughter Stacey Cauley. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Cauley of Elba, AL; his children, Donna Coppage of Elba, AL, Betty Dueitt of Elba, AL and Buddy Cauley of Elba, AL; and his brothers, Billy Wayne Cauley of Opp, AL and Chuck Brooks of Opp, AL. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren.

“It is quite sad to know my Brother-in-Law Roland has passed. He was an exceptional man. My sincere condolences to his family. Early in my Marriage to Linda Bryant, Roland's wife Sue, both were very nice to me and accepted me into their family. Roland was hospitable to my family and it was always a pleasure to be in his presence. He was a fisherman, a hunter, loved to grill and grilled whole hogs several times when we would come to visit. Roland was a Military Veteran.”
