It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarette Lewis of Elba, Alabama, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. Lewis, Jr.; her parents, Murphy Maulden and Dain Maulden; her siblings, Wayne Maulden, Pauline Hasty and Carol Gavin; and her son-in-law George Farris.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Lewis (Marcia) of Mobile, AL, Kay Farris of Elba, AL, Jama Walker (Steve) of Brantley, AL and Mike Lewis (Susan) of Luverne, AL; her grandchildren, Brandee Abramson of Woodstock, GA, Tiffany Bryan of Andalusia, AL, Amy Douglas of Spanish Fort, AL, Brittany Green of Brantley, AL, Stephen Walker of Brantley, AL, Luke Lewis of Houston, TX, Jake Lewis of Tuscaloosa, AL and Adison Lewis of Luverne, AL.; and her siblings, Fox Maulden of The Villages, FL, Frances Evans of Orlando, FL, Evelyn Milam of Casselberry, FL, Jessie Lewis of Elba, AL and Jo Ann Reeves of Babson Park, FL. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
