She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Parker and John Ward; her siblings, Betty Harrison, Obida Ward, Mary Richardson, Harvey Ward, Earl Ward and James Ward; her daughter Lashelle Burleson; and her grandson Austin Watkins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Railey of Elba, AL, Heather Bobo of Birmingham, AL and John D. Watkins of Cookeville, TN.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hayes Funeral Home (431 E Davis St, Elba, AL 36323). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
