He was predeceased by: his wife Debbie Smith; and his parents, Evelyn Jane Smith and James Edgar Smith, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Jason Smith (Joli) of Dothan, AL, Jamie Smith (Sandra) of Andalusia, AL and Sonya Walker (Ken) of Opp, AL; and his sisters, Susan Marler of Elba, AL, Cindy Brown of Enterprise, AL and Diane Duncan of Elba, Alabama.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
