He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bane of Elba, AL; his children, Stuart Foster Bane (Kimberly) of Elba, AL, Melinda Vaughan of Elba, AL and Kristy Hickman (Rob) of Fairhope, AL; his grandchildren, Stuart Bradley Bane (Sally) of Elba, AL, Sarah Frances Bane of Hartford, AL, Judson Vaughan (Katie) of Deatsville, AL, Colton Vaughan (Katie Driggers) of Elba, AL, Luke Thomas Hickman of Fairhope, AL, Levi Foster Hickman of Fairhope, AL and Leah Gwendolyn Hickman of Fairhope, AL; and his great grandchildren, Powell Timothy Bane of Elba, AL, Jacks Foster Bane of Elba, AL, Bella Elizabeth Bane of Elba, AL, William Carter Vaughan of Deatsville, AL and Lucy Collins Vaughan of Deatsville, AL.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Ebenezer Baptist Church (1255 Co Rd 400, Elba, AL 36323). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the New Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery (1255 Co Rd 400, Elba, AL 36323).
