He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dawson and Anita Marler Wyatt; and his son-in-law Bill Morphis. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Burroughs Wyatt; his children, Jason Wyatt, Krissie Morphis, John Wheeless (Kammie), Monica Wheeless and Jesse McKinney (Tracie); his grandchildren, Payton, Garrin, Kenzleigh Wyatt, Tyler Wheeless, Brandon Wheeless, Hailey, Emily, Hannah, Dylan McKinney, Lexi and Nick Morphis; and his sisters, Linda Allen and Carol Bolan (Nick). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
