He was predeceased by: his wife Ruthie Merle English; his parents, Lillie Emma (Scott) and Henry Jesse Motley; his siblings, Annie Belle Schilling, Lester, Howell, Joe, Wade, Lawson and Carl Motley; and his great grandchild Gavin Deedrick.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Joiner (Jesse) of Westville, FL, Becky Motley of Westville, FL, Gordon Motley of Westville, FL, Lisa Peeples (Forrest) of Palatka, FL and Christy Paul (Lee) of Bonifay, FL; his grandchildren, Jesse Joiner III (Audrey), Katie Castaneda (Nate), Ashley Porter (Michael), Raven Clark (Andrew), Willow Motley (Ethan McVay), Dyan Deedrick, Michelle Azula (J. D.), Justin Peeples, Trey Paul (Laura) and Jacob Paul; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley English and Patricia English Jackson.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM, at 2:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Pittman Baptist Church.
