He was predeceased by: his children, Sharon Frederick and Billy M. Driggers; his parents, Johnnie Driggers and Exa Wambles Driggers; and his siblings, Herman Driggers, Howard "Sam" Driggers, Lloyd Driggers, Ovie Flournoy, Elva Marshall and Marie Tucker.

He is survived by: his wife Joann Holley Driggers; his children, Denise Bryan of Elba, Sondra Driggers of Elba, Genevieve Daniel (Chris) of Richmond, VA, Shelia Thrower (Derrell) of Smiths Station, AL, Cheryle Ellenburg (Steve) of Enterprise, AL, Greg Hanchey (Lisa) of Elba, AL and Cory Driggers (Alyssa) of Dothan, AL; his brother Harry Driggers of Brantley, AL; and his grandsons, Jonathan Richardson and Billy M. Driggers, II. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
