She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Melvin Virgil Miles; her parents, Phillip Amos Ward, Sr. and Inger Ward; her sons, Phillip Miles and Joseph Miles; and her brother Phillip Amos Ward, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Judy Turner of Enterprise, AL, Charles Miles (Diana) of Prattville, AL and Jeanette Donaldson (Dennis) of Elba, AL; her sisters, Margaret Austin of Centennial, CO, Shirley Mahoney of Cascade, MT and Carol Maxwell (Harold) of Mesa, AZ; and her grandchildren, Michael Vines of Elba, AL, Chris Turner of Pensacola, FL, Courtney Turner of Pensacola, FL, Chuck Miles, Gale Renteria of Enterprise, AL, Deanne Doake of Enterprise, AL, Robert Donaldson of Elba, AL and Wesley Donaldson of Enterprise, AL. She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren.
