He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Maddox; his father John Maddox, Sr. (Etta); and his siblings, Patricia Maddox Eldridge and David Maddox. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Freeman (Kevin); his sister Hazel Maddox Breland; and his grandsons, Kody and Kaleb.
