He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola McLaughlin and Lloyd McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Jerryl (Amanda) and Travis (Shana); his grandchildren, Blane and Mylana; and his sister Dolly Stevens. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
