She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Shirley and Ada Shirley (Joe Nelson); her son Victor Nelson; and her grandson Victor Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Sprinkle and Becky Cink; and her sisters, Carrol Chastain and Raven Williams (Joe). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
