It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Honeycutt Hoven (Eight Mile, Alabama), who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Honeycutt and Margaret Broadus. She is survived by: her husband Willie Hoven; her sister-in-law Carrol Hoven; her nieces and nephews, Willie G. Hoven (Traci), Wendy Hoven Sheets and Raymond Hoven; her sisters, Molly Bonner, Joyce Parker and Carol Holliman (John); her sister-in-law Carolyn Honeycutt; and her grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew, Raegin, Aaron and Laken.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery (34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, AL 36577).
