She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde M. Thornton; and her son Rocky Marion Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Linda Thornton Sanders (Larry), Ronnie Thornton (Sherry), Mike Thornton (Janet) and Pam Wilson (David); and her siblings, Merle McDaniel, Virginia Owens and Shirley Chavers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
