He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Pitchford and Betty Jean Hudson Pitchford of Tallassee, Alabama.. He is survived by: his siblings, Albert Earl Pitchford and Alice Faye Gates (Jerome); and his nieces and nephews, Ginny Entwisle (Jonathan), Janna Dunn (Danny), Celeste Brewer (Joseph), Jody Haggard (Tonya), Justin Pitchford (Karie) and Eli Pitchford.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Linville Memorial Funeral Home (84632 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, AL 36024). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
