He was predeceased by: his children, Timothy Lynn and Cindy Ann; and his siblings, Willie, Henry, Sheffield, Calvin, Kary, Joseph, Josephine Daniels and Victoria Young.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Jamie" and Dwight Hill of Eclectic Alabama; his stepson Mason Hall of Rockford, Ala; his daughters, Carolyn Cobbin of Ft. Lauderdale and Beverly Hill of Albany; his stepdaughters, Annie Floyd of Equality, Ala and Martha Walton of Eclectic, Ala; his sister Arie Martin of Camilla; and his grandchildren, Tameria Williams, Branita McCall and Gracious. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
