We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 83, Johnny Davis of Eclectic, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wives, Virginia Maloy Davis and Anna Hicks Davis; and his parents, William Penn and Hattie Sellers Davis. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Davis (Lisa), Paulette Davis Goodson, Tammy Thornton (Keith) and Joanna Burkett (Danny); his grandchildren, Chris Davis, Shanna Sims (Kiley), Jared Davis, Trey Goodson (Ali), Katie Goodson, John Thornton, Brooke Burkett and Taylor Burkett; his great grandchildren, Bryce Sims, Brayden Sims and Brennan Sims; his siblings, Mary Layton, Paul Davis (Jane), Patricia Barnett, Martha Lynn Ellis (Earl) and Claude Davis (Joyce); his niece Sharon Nykamp (Randy); and his nephew Tim Davis (Randy).
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family memorial service for immediate family only will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 12 noon at Linville Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Tate officiating.
