It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Donald Farris of Eclectic, Alabama, born in Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on May 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Edwards and J. D. Farris; and his brother Charles Kenneth Farris. He is survived by: his wife Katie Thornton of Eclectic, Alabama; his sons, Jeremy Daniel (Lisa Hofler) and Jason Donald; his brother Jack Edward (Bobbye); his nephew Jon Edward (Lynn); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Dean Williams. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
