It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James O'Neal Hicks of Eclectic, Alabama, who passed away on September 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Eugene Hicks, Sr. and Mable Claire Hicks; and his brothers, Joseph William Hicks and Willie Eugene Hicks, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hicks; and his sons, James O'Neal Hicks II (Angie) and Herman Eugene Hicks. He is also survived by three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.
