He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Monroe Harris and Lillian Haden Harris; and his brother Dr. Harold Harris. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Lyons Harris (Hattie); his children, Mary Haden Harris of Houston, TX and Joseph Boyd Harris (Taliese) of Lake Martin, AL; his granddaughters, Charlotte Haden Harris and Catherine Grace Harris; his sister Haden Harris Pickel (James R.) of Nashville, TN; and his sister-in-law Claudia Harris of Clemson, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
