It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Boyd Harris of Eclectic, Alabama, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Boyd Harris to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Monroe Harris and Lillian Haden Harris; and his brother Dr. Harold Harris. He is survived by : his wife Catherine Lyons Harris (Hattie); his children, Mary Haden Harris of Houston, TX and Joseph Boyd Harris (Taliese) of Lake Martin, AL; his granddaughters, Charlotte Haden Harris and Catherine Grace Harris; his sister Haden Harris Pickel (James R.) of Nashville, TN; and his sister-in-law Claudia Harris of Clemson, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 620 Gilmer Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama 36078.
