He was predeceased by: his parents, McDaniel Harding Hopper and Grace Hopper Perkins; and his daughter Shannon Hopper. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Hopper; his children, Jeanine Pitchford (Wayne) and Paige Armstrong (Bill); his grandchildren, Laken Hooper (Tyler), Daniel Armstrong, Loren Pitchford, Renee Strausbaugh (Micah) and Lori Armstrong; and his great grandchildren, Miller Hooper and Michael Hooper.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be memorial contributions in his memory to Salem Road Baptist Church (PO Box 240445 Eclectic, AL 36024).
