He was predeceased by : his parents, Freeman Turner and Bobbie Turner; and his grandson Carter Waldrop. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Alldredge Turner; his daughter Dawn Waldrop (Keith); his grandchildren, John David Waldrop, Will Waldrop, Miller Gauntt and Sadie Grace Gauntt; his brother Rickey Turner; and also Frances Gauntt (Trey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
