He was predeceased by: his daughters, Tammy Waddell and Wanda Holland. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Holland; his sons, Rev. Michel Holland (Sara) and Andy Waddell; his grandchildren, Aneisha Dial (Dewayne), Andrew Waddell and Reagan Holland; and his great grandchildren, Mason Dial and Raelynn Dial.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made the Gadsden City High School Wrestling program.
