She was predeceased by: her husband Rufus Lowell Dowdey. She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Dowdey Forbus (Brian) and Teresa Dowdey Scarpulla (Pete); her grandson Trey M. Forbus (Heather); her great grandchild Shane Johnson; her nephew Joe Wayne Dowdey; her great-nephews, Ian and Nick Dowdey; and also Lisa Scaggs Dowdey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
