She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Short. She is survived by: her son Joe Ellis; her granddaughters, Sherry Williams, Jennifer Ellis, Wendy O'Konek, Reece O'Konek, Sheamus O'Konek and Michelle Williams; and her siblings, Jimmy May and Jeannie Wallace.
