He was predeceased by: his father Willie Gurley; and his son David Glenn Gurley Jr.. He is survived by: his close friend Bradley Knapp; his children, Kevin Gurley and Kaycie Gurley; his grandchildren, Natalie Sexton (Ryleigh Gurley) and Jamison Gurley; his mother Geraldine Gurley; and his siblings, Lottie Haynes, James Gurley, Judy Gurley, Tommy Gurley, Benny Gurley, Billy Gurley and Becky Ford.
