He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Minnie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Lois Smith; his children, Angela Smith Hall (Lawrence) and Donald Howell (Sarah); and his grandsons, Paul Howell and Andrew Howell.
