He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Johnson and Carol Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Claire Johnson; his sons, Hunter D. Johnson (Taylor) and Landon F. Johnson (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Downing Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Juniper Johnson and Huxley Johnson; his brother Jim Johnson (Donna Heinz); his niece Kelly Johnson; and his nephew Kevin Johnson. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pell City First Baptist Church.
