He is survived by : his father Papa; his daughters, Debra Grammer (Tommy), Dawn Phillips (David) and Amanda Shaddix; his grandchildren, Tyler Laymon (Kristin), Lilyanne Phillips Vera (Jared), Anna Haynes and Abby Haynes; and his brother Charles "Sonny" Shaddix (Geraldine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
