She was predeceased by : her daughter Shone Vaughan Johnson; her parents, Gordon Henry Parker and Jeanette Crawford Hyde; her stepfather Alford Hyde; her siblings, Betty Sue Parker, Jeanie Hendrix and William Henry 'Buddy Parker; her niece Velisha Lashley; and her nephews, William Earl 'Billy Williams and Johnny Glenn Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Kay McKinney (David) and John Vaughan (Lecretica); her close friend John Vaughan; her grandchildren, Blake Vaughan (Britney), Brian Vaughan (Tori), Brandon Johnson (Leah), Rebecca McKinney, Tyler McKinney, Madison McKinney, Emily Vaughan and Alyssa Vaughan; her great grandchildren, Adleigh Sexton, Emmie Johnson, Emberlee Johnson, Ayden Vaughan, Susan Vaughan and Masyn Haynes; and her sister Marilyn Pruitt (Ricky). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
