She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Thomas and Polly Thomas; her siblings, Mary O. Hendrix, Archie James Thomas, Jr., James Edward Thomas, Levi Randolph Thomas, Walter Lee Thomas, L. C. Thomas and David Lee Thomas; and her grandson Joshua Earl Wittenaver.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wayne Burroughs; her children, Diane Wittenaver of Tuscaloosa, Patricia Corley of Mesquite, Theresa Priebe of Tuscaloosa, Wanda Dyson of Tuscaloosa and Robert Corley of Brent; her stepsons, Donald Burroughs of Cottondale and David Burroughs of Mississippi; and her brothers, William Jack Thomas of Duncanville and Howard Gordan Thomas of Cottondale. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren.
