He is survived by: his wife Linda Cockrell Ray; his daughters, Pamela Ray Green (Donnie), Angela Ray Paulene (Robbie) and Brittany Ray Crockett (Trey); his siblings, Billy Joe Ray (Jo Ann), Shirley Smith, James Ray (Gail) and GayNell Olive (Don); his grandchildren, Jason Green, Robert Green (Laura), Alex Green (Kayla), Cody DeRamus (Bethanne), Ashley Stange (Steven) and Lily Crockett; and his great grandchildren, Luella Tolbert, Zander Green and Lane DeRamus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
