He was predeceased by: his wife Cindi Gilpin Carroll; his parents, Edmond Willis Carroll, Sr. and Betty Nell Carroll Sutton; and his niece Emily Hallman. He is survived by: his sons, Eric Carroll (Brittany) of Duncanville, AL and John Carroll of Ocean Springs, MS; his stepdaughters, Jessica Newcity and Dierdre Hogan; his sister Carol Ann Day of Brookwood, AL; and his granddaughter Sabrina Carroll. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
