He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Holmes and Syble Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Holmes of Dozier; his sons, Heath Holmes (Jessica) of Dozier and Cody Holmes (Alexa) of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Hunter Holmes, Addyson Holmes and Hudson Holmes; his siblings, Joe Wayne Holmes (Jan), Raymond Holmes (Julia), Marilyn Herring (Donnie) and Kathy Donohue (Tom); and his niece Jesse Tyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
