It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry W. Umbarger (Dozier, Alabama), who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jerry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jerry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Oleta Moore Umbarger and Jarvis Eugene Umbarger; and his brothers, Butch Umbarger and Andy Umbarger.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Gilead Cemetery (29860 5 Points Rd, Dozier, AL 36028).
