He is survived by: his wife Sybil Merlene Hughes; his children, Jerry Hughes (Joye) of Auburn, Debi Curry of Clearview, Cindy Lawson (Johnny) of Titus, AL and Terry Hughes (Stacey) of Andalusia; his brothers, James Hughes of Nashville and Mike Hughes (Barbara) of Tallahassee, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Sasser of Montgomery and Donnie Ray Sasser (Brenda) of Brookhaven, Miss. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mason's or Shriner's Hospital.
