She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Vaughn and Mattie Vaughn; and her son Jackie Griffin. She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Gunter and Imogene Griffin; her son-in-law Troy "Frog" Gunter; her grandchildren, Kevin Gunter (Tylene), Justin Griffin (Kristi) and Jennifer Self (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Nikki Gunter, Anna Gunter, Kati Gunter, Jaxon Griffin and Jase Griffin; and her great great grandchildren, Ashton Roseborough and Davis Gunter. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boaz Carr Funeral Home (807 Sparks Ave, Boaz, AL 35957). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Boaz Carr Chapel (807 Sparks Ave, Boaz, AL 35957). A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
